Puff Daddy shocked fans recently by announcing his retirement from music.
But he’s going out in style, reuniting with some of the Bad Boy Family for a series of reunion tour concerts — and Friday night Jay Z popped in on the group’s Brooklyn stop!
Young Hov surprised the audience at the Barclay’s Center last week when he swung by Diddy’s concert to say “hi” to the crowd and of course perform with Diddy!

Puff introduced his fellow musician with the highest honor, saying:
“You’ve been there with me through my ups and downs, whenever I get in trouble, this is the one I call. This my strategist right here, this my brother, this B.I.G.’s brother.”
Shortly after, the pair launched into Jay’s 2003 hit Public Service Announcement and the crowd went nuts!
Though Jay had fun, some of the Bad Boy Family isn’t as as happy as other acts off the rapper’s label — Da Band, B5, Day 26, and Diddy Dirty Money – didn’t even get an invite to the tour!

B5’s Dustin Michael opened up to TMZ:
“We just felt like our relationship [with Diddy] was better than that. We made history with Diddy on Making the Band and pretty much opened the doors for all the other reality shows.”
Not that Making the Band wasn’t GREAT, but Dustin might be over exaggerating the show’s impact just a bit. LOLz!
There were several other members who weren’t invited to join the show who said they’d probably still go check it out — though there’s still no word on comped tickets. Whomp!
Ch-ch-check out some of the highlights from Friday’s show (below) and let us know if you think some of the BBF should be more upset over being snubbed!
