It’s a bird, it’s a plane … it’s as many puns as possible!
British TV reporter Sian Welby went viral again this week after she perfectly made 20 “Batman v Superman” quips in a minute-long weather segment posted on Friday.
“Well, you needed X-ray vision to see through the fog in some parts this morning,” Welby began in her witty stream of references. “So it was Harley Quinn-cidence the temperatures would be the lowest in the north and north-west.”
The segment tied in with the theatrical run of “Batman v Superman.”
Her cramming, which tied in with the blockbuster’s run in theaters, came fast and strong, as she worked in mentions of actor Adam West, the Dark Knight, Lex Luthor and even managed to work this one in: “Rain will Affleck Northern Ireland.”
“If you’re going on a car trip tonight, just be aware that things will Gotham bad to worse,” the clever weather girl continued.
Sian Welby referenced Batman V. Superman 20 times in her weather broadcast.
Welby has made a habit of her pun-packed reports and went viral for the first time in December with her ‘Star Wars’ themed forecast.
In less than a day, her latest bit fetched over 53,000 views. It needs to reach almost 4 million clicks to match the fame of her ‘Star Wars’ hit.
