One of the gifts we’re most looking forward to receiving this year is Taylor Swift‘s 1989 World Tour Live, streaming on Apple December 20!
The Wildest Dreams songstress filmed her concert at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney, Australia back in November — but before the show started, she sat down with Beats 1 for a super lengthy interview!
In the 30-minute sit down, Tay talks about everything from the conception of 1989 to performing her hit tour!

She also spills the deets about how her ever-growing squad is a celebration of friendship, as it was hard for her to make friends when she was younger! She said:
“Nowadays, when I meet someone at an event or something and we hit it off, we keep in touch, and overtime all of us ended up being a group that love each other and support each other.”
Who’s the funniest member of her squad? Este Haim.
Who kicks her ass? Lorde.
And as for the now infamous celebrity cameos on her tour? The 25-year-old just says it’s pure fun! She added:
“It would be weird to not include my friends. These were the people who helped me get to this point where i could make this album. These were the ones who were like, ‘Don’t listen to your label. Do whatever you want’…And so when this album came about, I had my friends walk down the catwalk because it was fun!”
Ch-ch-check out the revealing interview (below) to hear even more about what it means to be besties with Taylor!
