They weren’t swinging from the chandeliers, but Sia and James Corden seemed to be having an awful lot of fun on Carpool Karaoke.
The “Late Late Show” host invited the wig-wearing “Chandelier” singer on his popular singing segment on Tuesday’s show and they talked everything from addiction to aliens during their 10-minue car trip.
The clip starts off when Corden picks Sia up, wearing her trademark wig that obscures her face so she can’t see and needs his help finding the car.

They immediately launch into an impressive rendition of “Chandelier” — and Corden does a pretty darn good job of hitting those high notes.
After the song, Corden asks the consistently bewigged singer why she’s made that her trademark look.
James Corden spotted Sia in Los Angeles and asked her to carpool to work as they sing some of her big hits like “Chandelier” and “Diamonds.”
“I don’t wear this thing unless there’s a camera around, I only wear it so I can maintain a modicum of privacy,” Sia explains.
She’d been in the industry for about a decade when she decided to don her now-signature look, she says.
“I was an alcoholic and a drug addict. I sobered up, and I decided I didn’t want to be an artist anymore, because I was starting to get a little bit famous and it was destabilizing in some way,” she said.
“So I thought, ‘What doesn’t exist in pop music at the moment?’ And it was mystery. I was like, there’s pictures on Instagram of everyone at the dentist.”
Next, the pair sings “Diamonds” and Corden asks for vocal advice before switching to “Elastic Heart.”

Apropos of nothing, Corden announces: “You believe in aliens.”
Sia marvels, “How did you know that?”
“I know s— about you!” he says.
The singer explains that, although she’s never seen an alien, she’s a believer because of a video she saw featuring a Canadian government official averring their existence.
After talking ETs, Corden dons a wig matching the singer’s and they sing “Alive” together before discussing Sia’s insane double-jointed hands and testing how many eggs she can balance on the back of her hands.
They close out the spot with a rendition of “Titanium,” just before the pair arrives at their final destination.
