Pop sensation Demi Lovato left the audience buzzing at Saturday’s GLAAD Awards when she made an awkward, off-color joke comparing herself to close friend and fellow musician Nick Jonas.
“What people don’t know about me is, I know that you all love Nick Jonas, but I actually have a bigger d–k than he does,” she told the delighted audience, prompting a chorus of laughter and applause. “And a huge set of balls. I’m going off script, by the way.”
Even Jonas, who was standing unsuspectingly behind the “Confident” singer, got a kick out of the shocking remark, taking a few steps away to compose himself as he chuckled along with the crowd.

The 23-year-old Lovato, who was onstage to accept a Vanguard award for her support of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, then took her speech in a more serious direction as she encouraged the audience members to embrace themselves no matter what.
“You should always love yourself for who you are,” she said. “The skin that you’re in — whether you identify with it and are afraid to tell people — go for it! You can do it. Have no fear.”
Jonas, meanwhile, was on hand to introduce Lovato at the GLAAD Awards, which recognizes various members of the media for their contributions to the LGBT community.
The two artists, who co-starred together in Disney’s “Camp Rock” movie in 2008, have been close for many years and will team up to perform on their dueling “Future Now” world tour this summer.
On Sunday, Lovato shared a far more heartfelt tribute to Jonas in the aftermath of the award show.
Lovato and Jonas have been friends for years and will tour together this summer.
“Last night I was given the Vanguard award from GLAAD and one of my best friends presented it to me with words that totally made me cry,” Lovato wrote on Instagram.”That friend is my brother @nickjonas and I’m so thankful for our friendship. Love you and thanks for last night.”
Taylor Swift was also present at the GLAAD Awards, where she surprised “Orange Is the New Black Star” Ruby Rose” Ruby Rose and unexpectedly presented her with an award.
Most notably, however, “The Matrix” co-director Lilly Wachowski also appeared at the show — marking her first public outing since reintroducing herself to the world as a woman last month.
