Since the tragic passing of Prince last month, almost everyone under the sun has honored the legendary musician with emotional performances and touching memories.
But Paul McCartney saved his tribute to the Purple One for his Wednesday concert, because he was playing in the late icon’s hometown of Minneapolis!
Kicking off the first of his two-night stop at the Target Center in Minnesota, the former Beatle stood in front of Prince’s famous symbol while rocking out to a rendition of Let’s Go Crazy.

After the performance, the 74-year-old dedicated the show to “the late, great Prince,” telling the audience:
“Here’s to the man. Loved that guy. Thank you, Prince, for writing so many beautiful songs, so much music. And he’s your guy.”
This touches our hearts!
