This is TOO funny!!!
Marco Rubio is running for the GOP nomination for president, and when he’s not busy getting embarrassed on stage by Chris Christie at a debate, he’s… using stock footage of Canada in his campaign commercials?!
Why YES, yes he is!

Rubio released a campaign commercial called Morning Again on Sunday, and while it otherwise seemed pretty standard — he like, OMG, totally hates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, y’all — he made one MASSIVE slip-up that was caught immediately!
In the opening scene of the commercial, the skyline shown isn’t an American city at all — it’s Vancouver, Canada!!!
Ch-ch-check out the opening scene in the commercial (below):
GREAT work, Marco! You’re really knockin’ their socks off now!
A spokesman for Rubio’s campaign responded to the goof-up with a very brief message:
“We hadn’t noticed that. We are not going to make Canada an issue in this election.”
Um, yeah, we should hope not! LOLz!!

In fact, the photographer who shot that stock footage scene of the Vancouver skyline, Guy Chavasse, took great pleasure in learning Rubio had mistakenly used it:
“It’s pretty funny, isn’t it? It’s a good-looking video, no doubt, but it’s pretty recognizable as Vancouver. I’m not exactly a big Republican fan or a Rubio supporter, but it’s always cool to see your stuff being used.”
That’s one way to look at it!
Rubio reportedly has no plans to change the footage or swap out the commercial, which is inneresting, but we guess when you’ve already sunk a bunch of money into footage and just want to get something out there… you make do.
Maybe if they cram a (North) in the middle of that sentence…
Oh, Canada! Ha!!!
