Charlize Theron is facing off against Chris Hemsworth once again — but this time she has help from Emily Blunt.
The first trailer for the “The Huntsman: Winter’s War” was released Wednesday, and shows Theron’s Queen Ravenna’s original showdown with the huntsman Eric, played by Hemsworth.
The pair reprise their roles from the hit 2012 flick “Snow White and the Huntsman,” while Kristen Stewart and the film’s director Rupert Sanders do not return for the prequel.
Long before she was vanquished by Snow White, Ravenna reigned alongside her equally evil sister Freya (Blunt), also known as the Ice Queen.
Emily Blunt (r.) stars as the Ice Queen Freyda who teams up with evil sister Queen Ravenna in “The Huntsman: Winter’s War.”
The Ice Queen creates an army of deadly huntsman that includes Eric and a warrior named Sara (Jessica Chastain).
Despite being ordered to “harden their hearts to love,” Eric and Sara fall for each other, earning them the sisters’ wrath.
The film’s trailer was released the same day David Beckham was announced as People’s newest Sexiest Man Alive.
Jessica Chastain (l.) and Chris Hemsworth play members of the Ice Queen’s army in prequel to “Snow White and the Huntsman.”
Since Hemsworth held the title last year, Chastain took to Twitter to tease her “Huntsman” co-star about getting replaced by the superstar athlete.
“Oh man…you must be devestated (sic). I know how much this title meant to you,” she tweeted the hunky actor.
“Thank u @jes_chastain for your kind words & timely reminder that I’m now over the hill,” he joked back.
As for their fantasy-action flick, “The Huntsman: Winter’s War” marches into theaters April 22, 2016.
