Every man’s dream to be with Hollywood stunner Scarlett Johansson is now scientifically possible — if they have the time and money.
A Hong Kong-based product designer took his obsession of the actress to previously-unseen levels, creating a life-sized robot in the bombshell’s likeness.
The sexy bot cost Ricky Ma over $ 50,000 and 18 months of his life.
Hong Kong techie Ricky Ma created the Scarlett Johansson-bot.
Despite the dedication and uncanny similarities to the blonde beauty, Ma won’t discuss who inspired the silicone-coated robot.
“When I was a child, I liked robots,” the 42-year-old told Reuters.
“After I grew up, I wanted to make one. But during this process, a lot of people would say things like, ‘Are you stupid? This takes a lot of money. Do you even know how to do it? It’s really hard,” he continued.
Ricky Ma and his creation.
Ma turned mainly to 3D printing technology to fashion the machine’s body, which he then dressed with a gray skirt and tight white crop top.
Ma wouldn’t admit the bot looked like Johansson.
He simply calls the prototype Mark 1.
“I figured I should just do it when the timing is right and realize my dream,” Ma explained. “If I realize my dream, I will have no regrets in life.”
Creepiness aside, the technological lookalike is impressive.
It can move its arms and legs, turns its head and bow and even display facial expressions — like winking, for example.
Naturally, the robot wouldn’t be complete without voice commands.
Ma programmed the humanoid replica to respond to questions such as “Are you happy?”
The robot also says “Hehe thank you” to statements like “I love you” and “you are so cute.”
