The band teased fans with a major announcement all day.

Earlier reports hinted the rock group would disband after 22 years together so Dave Grohl could launch a solo career.

“For the millionth time, we’re not breaking up,” the band wrote in the final seconds of the seven-minute long video.

“And nobody’s going f—– solo,” they added.

The band had teased fans all day with news of a major announcement.

Speculation had been rampant since Grohl performed an acoustic version of the Beatles’ classic, “Black Bird” by himself for the In Memoriam segment at Sunday night’s Oscars.

Dave Grohl and his band, the Foo Fighters were heavily rumored to take an ‘indefinite hiatus.’

Instead of a heartbreaking confirmation of what many suspected, the band parodied the news with a video released on their YouTube page.

The spook kicked off with Grohl reflecting on his highly praised performance at the Academy Awards.

“Maybe it’s time for me to do my own thing,” the rocker told producer Butch Vig.

That compels his determined bandmates to “make Foo Fighters great again”wasting no time on finding their new member.

They even bring in former boy bander Nick Lachey as a replacement while Grohl goes on to uncharacteristically embark on an electronic solo music career.

Formed by Grohl after Nirvana disbanded in the wake of frontman Kurt Cobain’s suicide, the band has recorded eight albums and sold more than 30 million records worldwide.
