“Late Late Show” host James Corden may be the only person bold enough to sing karaoke with “the biggest star in the world.”
The CBS late-night host will host vocal powerhouse Adele on a new installment of Carpool Karaoke airing Wednesday, he announced in a Monday teaser.
After a brief cellphone spoof of Adele’s “Hello,” Corden and his fellow Londonite belt out the new hit as well as her 2010 Grammy winner, “Rolling in the Deep.”
The British duo, cruising in a car with a right-hand steering wheel, also discusses the singer’s blunt bob haircut — and her apparent dilemma over how best to disguise it during her “Late Late Show” appearance.
“I can’t work out whether I should wear a wig-wig or have a weave,” she deadpans in the clip.
Adele joins James Corden for Carpool Karaoke this week.
“What I like is that you’re coming to me for this advice,” Corden replies.
Adele is the latest in a long line of stars who have joined Corden’s popular commute singalong, including Stevie Wonder, Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, Rod Stewart, Iggy Azalea and One Direction.
